Infrastructure

Infrastructure

The total infrastructure deficit in Peru between 2016 and 2025 amounts to US$159 billion, with transportation accounting for the largest share: US$57 billion. Of this subtotal, US$31 billion corresponds specifically to road infrastructure (highways).

Only 19% of Peru’s 174,709 km of roads are paved, including both basic and final solutions; this highlights a clear gap between surface coverage and actual quality. This is why our participation in road conservation and maintenance is active.
